The New England Healthcare Institute is dedicated to transforming health care for the benefit of patients and their families.

Who we are

NEHI is a nonprofit, health policy institute focused on enabling innovation that will improve health care quality and lower health care costs. Working in partnership with members from across the health care system, NEHI brings an objective, collaborative and fresh voice to health policy. We combine the collective vision of our diverse membership and our independent, evidence-based research to move ideas into action.

How we’re different

NEHI is not a trade organization or typical think tank. We represent all sectors of health care and use our research to move ideas into action. As an independent, coalition-building entity, we find mutual solutions to mutual problems facing health care. We are the largest, most diverse, multi-stakeholder health care organization in the nation.

Pioneers in health care with the spirit of innovation.

The New England Healthcare Institute has long been committed to supporting and promoting health care innovation in all forms – from promising technologies that improve outcomes to promising programs and initiatives that promote better health. NEHI believes that innovation is the real key to health reform.

With its annual Innovators in Health Awards, NEHI recognizes pioneers whose efforts reflect NEHI’s own spirit of innovation and collaboration and whose work advances NEHI’s mission to improve the quality of health care for patients and their families.

In this spirit of innovation and collaboration, we solicit your nominations for the 2010 Innovators in Health Awards. Please submit your nominations by May 15, 2010. All nominations will be reviewed and the finalists selected in time for the awards event on October 27, 2010.
