The past year brought significant changes to the health care industry from insurance exchanges, to industry consolidation, midterm elections, and rapid advances in mobile health and big data. What will 2015 bring? This NEHI On-Call features experts who will take out their crystal balls and forecast the coming changes in health care policy and delivery. Expect a lively discussion on how the new Congress will impact health care policy; what lies in store for the ACA; and what trends might disrupt the health care system.

The current environment relative to real world evidence (RWE) is increasingly complex as the demand, sources, and volume of data continue to grow. As the health care system evolves toward value-based decision-making and purchasing, it is increasingly important to understand the drivers and barriers to good use of health data.
To address these challenges, NEHI will convene a multi-sector roundtable in Washington, D.C., to explore:
Opportunities and threats to valuable health care innovation in an increasingly complex environment
Areas or patient populations where rapid progress could be achieved if principles of good use of data were clarified and generally adopted
Points of consensus on the fundamental drivers and barriers to progress for good use of data principles in health improvement, patient care and meeting unmet medical need
