NEHI honors Lander, innovators for healthcare reform efforts

The New England Healthcare Institute plans to honor four “Innovators in Health” today for leading the charge in healthcare reform.
Honorees for the “Innovators in Health” award include Eric Lander, a lead researcher in the Human Genome Project and a founder of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University; Atul Gawande, research director for Brigham and Women’s Hospital Center for Surgery and Public Health; Barry Zuckerman, chief of pediatrics at Boston Medical Center; and Christina Economos, associate professor at Tufts University...
