Join our NEHI LIVE! Webinar on Tuesday, February 27 from 12:00 pm – 1:30pm ET to learn about public- and private-sector efforts to address the nation’s epidemic of opioid use disorder.
On the webinar, representatives from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Governors Association (NGA) will discuss federal and state level efforts, including the epidemiology of the opioid crisis and SAMHSA’s policy and programmatic initiatives to combat the epidemic, and NGA’s roadmap and tools for state government response to the crisis.
NEHI member organizations, Project ECHO, and its partnering ECHO “hub” site at Boston Medical Center, will discuss efforts to train primary care providers and community health centers via telehealth in the use of medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorders.
