NEHI to release new publication on proven practices to tackle areas of health care waste

WHAT:           
Senior health care leaders and policymakers will engage in a dynamic discussion focused on proven practices that are reducing wasteful inefficiencies inseven critical areas of care delivery and how these practices could be scaled nationally, as well as inform the national dialogue on escalating health care costs.   The discussion follows a recent IOM analysis on how health care money is misspent and the measures that can be taken to address the trouble spots. The policymaker roundtable is an activity of Bend the Curve, an educational campaign launched by NEHI and supported by WellPoint, Inc. to reduce health care spending and improve care quality.
