In case you missed it: On Tuesday, June 2, NEHI held a cross-sector panel to discuss physician use of prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs). PDMPs are an important tool in tackling the problem of prescription drug abuse, but their use, funding, capabilities and usability vary across states. And, physicians have reported that they are unaware the programs exist and are not sure how to integrate them into clinic flow.
