Adult immunization – one of the most highly effective of evidence-based services – must be a high priority. These recommendations will require effort and careful consideration of, among other things, how increased costs should be apportioned between health insurance plans and other sources of public and private payment. Nevertheless, we have solved far greater challenges. We can not continue to push this issue into the future.
